  • Out of job on H1, should declare current status on interviews?

Do I truly posses any chances in getting an offer knowing that I've only 1 yr left on my H1-B plus USCIS making a validation date mistake on my I-94 (expired one year earlier!) Speaking of having luck. LOL

I've been out of job since April 07. I tried NYC for months, there are always something prevented me to get an offer here, so I'm considering traveling to to CA for interviews in 2 weeks.

Advice and strategy needed from everyone -

Q: Should I declare my status to any recruitment calls before making a trip there for all the potential interviews?

I was managed to get H1-B transferred in the past while I was out of job for 4 months. This is my one last chance to make it in this country, do i stand any chance this time around???
