My Employer filed H1 Extn and it was accepted by USCIS on 20th July, 2007.

1) I would like to know what is the minimum time it will take to get the extn papers in case of normal processing. I heard that max time would be 3 months.

2) What is the fee for H1 Extn. It was written on the receipt as $1690.00. Does it really cost so much for normal H1 Extn.

---- If you have applied on or after July 30 2007 and included the premium processing the total will be 1000 + 320. The rest of the amount seems to be your attorney fees or the company applying for the extension ahs paid that amount. Have you paid this amount of the company?
