H4 Stamping Question seniors pls respond
Hi,
I am currently in US, i have got my H1 transferred to a new employer.
I am going to India this month to get married but not going for the restamping of my visa.My old visa is valid till sep-20-2009.I have already received my approval papers for the new employer.
I would like to know if my wife would face any problem at the H4 interview (chennai consulate) coz of i having a new approval and my passport showing the old employer visa?
Is it mandatory that i need to get restamped to get my wife H4 visa or can she get the visa based on my new approval notice which she will be carrying along with her?
Can i travel outside of US by having the old visa and the new h1 approval notice as my old visa is still valid till 2009?
Seniors pls advise as i need to respond based on your advise.
