Hi,
I am working as a post doctoral researcher in a U.S. university and on H1. I am going to my country by the end of August and need to get my H1 visa stamped before come back which I am planning by end of September. My H1 approval is valid only until December 31 (after which I dont know my employer will extend or not). Could I be denied H1 stamping because I have only 2 or 3 months left on my approval? I mean if they put my through long background check it could get close to my H1 validity deadline in December. Should I worry about that? Thanks a lot for your opinion.
