h1b and ead

i have a question re: h1b, i am currently on h1b, what do i need to do if i plan to get a second job. can i have both h1b and ead? or can i just get a second job with my current h1b?

Per my knowledge, you can have both H1-b and EAD at the same time.
But, you can USE your H1-b ONLY as long as you have NOT USED your EAD! It means, once you use your EAD, your H1-b status is no longer valid.

Doing a second job when you are on H1-b is possible as long as your 2nd employer has filed for your H1-b visa. (you can have multiple h1-bs at the same time).
