Hello,
My case is little peculior.
I went for H1B visa stamping in Feb 2006, consulate officer made a query on the employer and he said consultate will get back to me once they finish their enquiry. they did'nt turned up till october 2006. I came to US on L-2.
After that my employer told to convert the visa status from L-2 to H1-B after consulting the attorney.
I got the approval and my status has been changed to H1-B. In the month of May 2007, i received a letter from the US consulate that "At this time your visa cannot be granted".
Now if i go to India for vacation, i have to go to consulate for visa stamping.
but according to the consulate data, my visa is rejected.
What will happen if i go for visa stamping in india.
He i am working and already filed the IT returns also.
Please Suggest me in this respect.
Thanks
CSM.
