H1 Transfer

Hi,

I have valid H1-B stamped in May 2006. I had never been to USA on this
VISA. However, I lso have valid B1 VISA on which I had come to USA. I would like to transfer my existing H1B to another employer. Please let me know the possibilities of H1B transfer in my case. I am currently in USA on B1 VISA and my employer would like to change either my B1 status to H1 or transfer my H1-B.

Please let me know the possibilities of H1B Transfer(From either B1 or
from existing H1B) and the time frame for this process. Please note that I have never travelled on my existing H1B VISA.

If you never worked on previous H1, you can't transfer. You need to apply fresh, subject to cap.
