Hi,
I work for company X on an L1 visa. Another company Y applied and got an approval for my H1, which starts on 1st Oct 2007. I have the following doubts:
1. Can I continue to work for my current employer on L1 after Oct 1st?
2. Can I transfer to H4 ( My husband is on H1) and then later next year transfer to H1. i.e I apply for an H4 and remain on H4 for a few months and then start my job with the employer who already has an approved H1?
I have some family issues and I need to take a break for few months but not sure if i am allowed to go to H4 and then on H1.
Any help will be really really appreciated.
