B1 stamped. Attending H1B

I need your help in this

Three months ago I went to Chennai consulate for B1 visa through my company and it got stamped. But I did not travel to US on that till now.

I need to attend H1B (Through other company) on 21 September 2007 in chennai. Hope you understood my situation. And here are my doubts :-)

1. What kind of questions VO may ask related to this?
2. If my H1B got rejected, what would be the status of my B1. Would that still valid?

my guess is once you get your H1 or if it gets rejected, B1 automatically becomes void. Find out about this

Cancelling of B1 is very rare upon getting a new stamp in another class. But it may be cancelled if they suspect fraud or something else.

Just because you had requested and been granted B1 does not mean that you had to use it. There was a business need at the time of application but it changed and you did not go, but have H1 now and are applying for the same.
