I came to US on L1B in Mar 06. My Visa stamping and I-94 both are valid till feb-08. Later filled my H1B (Change in Non-Immigration status) in May-06 and my petition got approved. I got new I-94 with the petition and my start date was 0ct-01-06. I would be great if some one can clarify the following question.
1) Is my L1 Visa become invalid immidately from Oct-01-6 i.e start date of my H1B. Was is it ok if I have worked on L1 even after 0ct-01-06 for some time and joined my new employer on Nov-01-06. Was it legal ? Will it cause any problem when I go back to inidia for stamping
2) Do my new employer (h1B) holder have to file anything to INS to indicate that I have joined them on nov-01-06.
I would appreciate if some one can reply on it
