H4 Visa queries

Hello

My husband has got a H1 visa 2 weeks back and left to US immediately. Now I am planning to apply for a H4 visa. Can I apply for H4 visa without any payslips of my husband. I heard that its better to attend the interview before any payslips are generated.

Are payslips of husband mandatory for applying H4?

Pay slip is not mandatory.

However solid proof is needed (documents like letter from company, if worked for some time pay stub, w2 etc) about his employment.
