Hi all,
I just need to discuss with you all about my present status. I have started working in the US with my work permit (Employment Authorization) in L2 visa, which is the spouse of L1. Meanwhile, I have got by H1 approved, it is a Fresh H1 and not Change of Status. I was thinking of visiting India this December - I got the following things pestering my mind:-
1) Will I be able to return in L2 without stamping my H1 from India, if so will I lose my H1? Can I stamp my H1 after coming back to US?
2) I heard about H1 stamping in Canada, will that be safe in my case - is there any risk hidden inside it?
3) I tried to book appointments in Indian consulates - but no dates are available in December end or January beginning - does anyone have any idea of the extend upto which appointments are open now?
