I have a query on Quest no 38 - 1 - "Have you ever been arrested on convicted for any offense or crime......"
I was involved in a accident case where I hit a crossing pedestrian on highway (although his fault of crossing on highway), a case was registered. I was not arrested but was in police lock-up for a night. The case is still pending in the court.
I do not want to be dis-honest since if they have any records, it would create problem but do they have finger print records from all police stations?
Do I answer 'yes' or 'No' for the Question #38-1?
