Holding H1 Petition, Till what time I can go for stamping

I am holding H1B Petition, which is valid upto sep 2010, As my present employer is palnning to sent me on B1.

Till what time I can go for stamping means I can go for stamping at any time before my validity or I have to appear before 2007 as I filled my H1B petition for 2007.
