need your advice..H1 7th yr Ext.

My H1 visa holds the validity till 01/09/2005, I would
be completing my 6 years quota by this date. In
between, I am out of the country for 10 months, which
I believe, can gain this period while applying for
extension of H1 visa after 01/09/2005.

Earlier when I sent for re-validation to St Louis,
they stamped till 12/12/2006 on my passport, which is
the expiry of my passport. Hence do I need to get my
visa revalidated (in India) for the current or future
approvals? Or whom should I contact here in US?

Currently my Green Card is under process, at LABOR
stage. My receipt date is 12/31/2003. Should we apply
for 7th year extension or the 10 months (for which I
was not in the country on long unpaid vacation)?

If so when would be the best tim to apply for
extension of H1? Do I need to get revalidated in
India? Can I plan to visit India during Nov’04 for a
month? Can my wife plan to visit India for 4 to 5
months from Nov ’04 till March ’05, if so does she
require getting her passport stamped in India?

Please guide me, so that can plan myself. Appreciate
your responses and guidance.
