H1B Selling a house. Question on TAX?

Been leaving in the US for 5 years now and owned a house more than 2 years. House is in escrow and purchased a new one. While signing the docs for close of escrow of my current house I came accross of Section 1445/FIRPTA. Is it true that I should pay the tax for selling this house? Please help. Any response will be gladly appreciated.

You are a resident for tax purposes, so you have to pay what every other tax resident has to pay.
See IRS Publication 519, Tax Guide for Aliens, and check with your CPA.
