Passport and I-797 name mis-match

Hi,

I have the scheduled appointment for H1B VISA.

My passport and I-797 form names are not macthing. Will this be a problem?

Passport Given Name: N1
Passport Surname : L1 L2

I-797 Name is : L2, N1 L1 (read it as Last name, First and middle).

Will this happened to any one? Will this name confusion create problems in getting the VISA stamping?

Please explain your situation. Appreciate all your help.

Yes it can happen. But as long as they have spelled your entire name correctly, there shouldn't be any problem. But again I would advice you to contact USCIS and let them know what is wrong, if you have time before going for stamping.
