I have a valid H1B Visa, but need to travel on L2, will my H1B visa be cancelled.

Hi,

I have a valid H1B Visa as of 2007. However, my company does not have a suitable client or project for me. So can I travel on a L2 Visa as a dependant of my husband who is about to travel on an L1 Visa.

My question is :-
Will my stamped and valid H1B Visa, be cancelled without prejudice when I go for the L2 Visa stamping ?
