  • H1B - Additional Admin Processing Delayed

    Hi,
    Kindly help me here.....

When I attended the US consulate for Visa Stamping
(H1B) my case was kept for “Administrative Processing”
by keeping my original I-797 and I-129 and nothing
heard from them for more than one year. When I mailed
them for the updates they replied with the same
    reason.

Meanwhile my present company sent me for B1 stamping
and during the interview, the interviewing officer had
given me an option of either keeping the H1B process
‘alive’ or accepting the B1 by with drawing H1B
process. As already waited for long time I accepted
the B1 by signing the withdrawal certificate for H1B.

Now my H1B sponsored company is pressurizing me to
    attend the interview again:

    In this present scenario:

    1) will I be able to attend the interview for H1B (It
has the validity of one more year) stamping again
    2) can I apply to US consulate to return my original
I-797 and I-129 etc., so that I can attend in any
    other country for stamping
    3) Is there any better option you have come across so
that my H1B validity can be utilized.

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Prashanth.

I think you can get h1 too

I think you can go for H1 too. I saw some person who already have B1 and then they got H1 and they are working in US on H1 and there B1 is also alive.
