Hi,

Even i faced the same situation before attending the Consulate interview in Mumbai and they not even cared to bother about that, you have your passport to show them your date of birth at the time of interview anyway.

So do not panic, concentrate on attending the interview and give a clean shot...

My DOB in I-797B has bee wrongly written. In India we normally used dd-mm-yy format and in US it is mm-dd-yy (came to know few days back only). So in the I-797B form, date and month fields have been interchanged. Can somebody pl. let me know if it really matters. Also how much time approx it takes. If somebody else has also faced this problem of wrong DOB, Pl. let me know how much time this correction will take.
