Hi,
My wife is on H-4 and in the process of getting TIN number, we lost her passports and I-94. She got 2 passports for her. One is the original passport on which she has H-4 Visa and I-94. After she came here to US, we applied for a name change and received a new passport. Now her passports are lost and we are in trouble. What should I do? How can we get the passports back? or how can we apply for a new ones? if we apply for new one, will my wife have problem in getting the visa stamped ? Can she get visa stamped here in US?
If we apply for a passport and then if wants to go to india and get a new H-4 Visa, what is the process? As she wont have I-94 and valid visa on her new passport, can she leave the country? If she can, then how should we proceed with this?
Can she go to canada and get a visa?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
