Guest repliedNo, you don not have to go out of country to get H1. Mine was converted to H1 from H4 while I was in USA. I got H1 stamped when I went to India for vacation afetr one year of getting H1.Leave a comment:

Hello,
Is it required to go out of the country and reenter if a person is currently on H4 visa and converting it to a H1?
