VISA appointment on old or new passport

Hi Friends,

I have taken appointment on my old passport for April 17th in Tijuana . Now I received my new passport. I have only 5 months left in old passport. Is it ok if I take the appointment on old passport or do I need to take another new appointment with the new passport? I still have valid VISA in my old passport until 2010. Please advice. Thanks in advance

Did they not mark the old one cancelled? It does not matter which one you took the appointment, the visa will only be issued on the new passport as the other one is not valid for 6 months.

You should take both passports as the VO will ask for the old one to cancel the old expired visa if any.
