Travel from US to India before H1 approval

I am currently working on L1 visa with company X.
Company Y filed for H1B (with Change of status) that got selected in the lottery, and I received the receipt notice. I will get approval notice anytime from now.

But I need to travel to India for some personal reasons before my H1B approval notice is received. I will come back to US with my L1 sometime in next month. Please let me know will there be any issue in getting my H1B approval, as I will be on different I-94 when compared to the one in the H1B approval notice.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

If you travel before receiving an approval notice with I-94, your COS is abandoned. You will need to get H1B stamping and re-enter or file another COS.
