H1B Visa Stamping

Hi, I came to US in 2006 with H1 visa from Company A after that I moved to 2 different companies( B then C). I still have H1 visa from company A till 28-Sep-2008 and I am planing to go to India in Aug-2008 and return by 30-aug-2008. Do I still need to get it stamped(I mean relvaidated) . I have valid I797 from company C till 2010.

Please let me know .

No. If the visa is valid, it can be used in conjunction with the new I797 at the time of entry. You need to present the I797 of your current employer even if the visa is from old employer.
