Entry to US on "almost" expire H1-B Stamp

My H1-B stamp will expire on Feb 21, 2002 and I plan to enter the US on Feb 18, 2002.

Do you think there is a problem? I just don't have too much time to extend my visa in St. Louis (still valid for more than 60-days) and not time to extend it will I am abroad.

Anybody has done that before? Please shed some light....

Entry to US

You can enter US on this H-1B visa stamp as long as you can present approved form I-797 (approval notice of H-1B petition) with longer expiration date. You'll be given new I-94 with the same expiration date as on I-797.
