Can i Transfer my H1

I am a newbie who just came into US on H1 with a consulting company, my friend who just started another company wants me to hop into his..can i transfer my H1 to my friends company...i did not get any single paystub till now....?

To hop into his company, you need to be maintaining H1 status by getting paid all the time. The employer must pay you all the time on H1.
