Not using H1 but H1 approved

Hello,

I'm on L1B visa and got my H1B approved with COS from another company. Need to start working on Oct 01 if I'm in the US.
Planning to go out of the US on Sept 24 and coming back in Nov on L1.

L1 will expire in Sept 2009. My company may ask me to extend my L1 in may 2009. I have following questions:

a) Will my H1 get cancelled after L1 extension is approved ?

b) Will the L1 employer come to know that I have an approved H1B ?

c) What if I do not use my H1 till the end of 2009 ? I know the employer can revoke it but can I get it transfered to another employer after the employer revokes it ?

Please let me know.

For question 3 ----
If employer revoke then i dont think you will able to transfer.

I am sure about 3.

Once you are cap counted, you are cap exempt till you use up all your H1 (plus L1) time. A transfer is nothing but a new petition not subject to cap.
You may qualify for "remainder option" if you have H1 time left at the time of your "transfer" application.

H1 + L1 = 6 yrs.
