    Hi,

I have a question regarding my H1 visa. I have my H1 visa since 2006 but couldnot travel to US as i was in London for sometime. I travelled in 2008 and lookinig for H1 extension as my visa is expiring in June 2009.

When we go for an extn i hope we get a visa for 3 yrs. Can stay back in the US even after that going for an extn again? Will the lost years can be earned for staying back?

I heard that with H1 we can stay for a max of 6 yrs .. as this is my 1st yr and if i go for an extn i can stay for 3 more yrs which will be a total of 4. Can i stay for 2 more yrs? If not, what would be the best way to stay back in US for a longer period?

    Please help out!!

    Thanks,
    Venks
