H1 denied after RFE..

Hi,

Recently my H1B got denied after RFE. My employer has decided to appeal for the case. Currently I am on OPT and is ending in November first week. I am working for another employer and employer filed for H1B is different.

Can anyone please advice how long does it take to see decision on appeal?
Has anyone got benifited in appeal thing?
will that effect my next H1 application in April 2009?
Can my current employer apply for appeal instead of the other employer?

If anyone can help me out with these, kindly advice me and help me

What was the RFE for and what was the reason for denial? You cannot ask someone how long it takes to go somewhere without telling where that place is.
