Ammended petition RFE

It depends on the reason for an RFE.

AN ammended petition was filed for my WIFE'S H-1B since her COS was denied.It was denied because she was out of staus and was out of country when her H-1b petition was approved.However now she is on H-4B visa and is in US.If she gets an RFE which we are not in position to reply. Owing to that if her ammended petition gets denied.Can she still go to India in one or two months to get her H-1B on the original petition provided we get the OK from her prospective employer.
