You can extend your H1 only if your I140 gets approved before Feb 2009. If not, you have to switch to H4 or return back to home country. -
extend H1B after 6th year
My H1B will be expire on February 10, 2009. I am in the process of applying labor certification. Can I extend my H1B after I get my I-140 approved? Or should I transfer to H4?
