Hello,
Im on an H1B Visa. I own a blog. Recently some company based out of USA showed interest in advertising on my blog. They paid me $300 via PayPal. After a week of payment, they sent me a W9 form to fill and send it. When i replied to them saying that i dont have an EIN, they asked me to use my SSN in place of EIN. I completed the form and sent it back.
Is this legal for H1B visa holders? Am i in a mess already?
