Non Profit H-1 VISA

Hi Guys,
I have a H-1B VISA since 2006 through a company and then I transferred it to another company. I am currently considering a offer from a research organisation but my H-1 would be to a non-profit H-1 or University H-1. Can I transfer this VISA back to some company in future without going through the quota or lottery? Or do I have to go through the Quota once I transfer my company VISA to a non profit H-1 VISA. Please let me know
