  • What if H1-B rejected or kept on hold?

    Hello,

I am OPT now and going for stamping to Mexico or Canada in next 1-2 months.

As we all know, (touch wood) but if anything goes wrong in stamping than we have to go back to India. So, after this does it mean that my approved H1-B voided? Or I can apply back in India with same approval? Did H1-B can be rejected or just they ask for some more clarification or documents?

    Your help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

Approved H1b does not get voided.

You could apply in India again if they deny you the visa. If it lands you in a security check, many VOs issue you a document that you can use to enter US temporarily for a month or two sometimes.
