What do you mean "from India"? All H1B workers irrespective of where they come from must be paid all the time. Yes, thats the law. If you are not being paid, you are out of status already.

Yes I mean paid.Is it a law that all employees who come to US from India on H1B should e paid irrespective of whether they have a project or not?

I have come to US in May and my employer has not been able to find me a project till now.Also he has not payed me anything till now.No Pay Stubs.WHat do I do?Now he is asking me to go back to India?Is there anybody who can advise me what I should do?
