I am going for my H1B stamping renewal on Dec12 at New Delhi consulate. How do I know whether my petition is under PIMS database? My lawyer did not told me anything about this. I changed my employer in October and got my new H1b petiton approved end of october. I dont know what delays I would be expecting because of PIMS? Any experiences at delhi, please share.

PIMS is NOT a show stopper. A delay from it is as little as 2-4 days. You can quit being paranoid about it unless you work for a shady employer.
