H4-h1 Coordination
Hi,
I am planning to apply and get H4 visa stamped in March 2009. I am also planning to apply for H1 in April 2009. Since I will apply for H1 from India, it will be consular processing and not COS.
1. My H4 will not get invalidated till I get stamping for H1. Is this correct?
2, What are the consequences if I travel to US on H4 after April 1 when my H1 application is pending?
3. What are the consequences if I travel on H4, after H1 approval but before stamping?
4. If I decide not to come on H4 but get H1 stamping and travel on H1, what is the earliest date before Oct 1 2009 that I can enter US?
Please help me out in clarifying these questions..
