H4 visa to H1

Hi,

i came to US on H4 visa and i got H1B in this year.i have one question on that.
i am eligible to work now.but what is the maximum time period to start my job,since i am planning to travel to my native now.heard that need to join before 60 days.is it true?

No grace period. You are already out of status if you are not working on H1b and not getting paid provided the approval was a COS.
