h4 help

Hello All

Thanks for the suggestions in this forum .They are very helpful & I appreciate everyone who takes time to answer the queries.

I am on H1B visa & in USA now , I am planning to India in end of december & i want to apply for my wife's H4 visa. We are from Andhra Pradesh . so which embassy should I apply for ? should I for the one in HYDERABAD ( whch will be open from 1st week of Dec ) or in Chennai as usual ?

How would I get an appoinemnet , If i have to attend in hyd ?

What are the documents should she carry to the interview ?

How do I find that what dates that embassy works in January ? (as it will be festive season )

any suggestions will be highly appreciated ..

Go with Chennai unless there is news that the Hyd consulate is processing visas. As of now, no such news.
