Spouse Last Name

Hello All,

I plan to get my spouse on H4 without changing her last name on the Passport, can i change her last name on the Passport in USA through the Indian Embassy, will it create a problem for H4 Extension or adding her name to 485.

My suggestion:

Either start with the married name in your immigration process (H4 visa) or continue with the maiden name all along till you get your green card. Don't change it in the middle which causes delays and confusion.
