Passport renewal, visa appointment

Hi,

I have surname field blank in my passport. With this case it means that I will be getting FNU in my passport as stated here.

I want to get it rectified, but my employer has already taken my old passport number and has sent it to attorney. If i renew it now, I guess, I will be getting new passport number.

I would like to know will it cause any trouble or if there is any other solution to this.

It will not create any problems. You just have to carry both passports.

one year experience with current employer, L1B visa

Hi,

I have total 3.4yrs experience, 1.2yrs with current employer included.

My employer is applying for L1B, will it cause me any trouble, even if I prove I have specialized knowledge in proprietary tools.
