H1 six year reset

Hello,

I was on vacation outside india(1.5yrs) and I am back to US on the same old current employer, and my current H1B expires sometime in 2010(started on 2003)
Now since I was out of US, for 1.5yrs, do I get automatically another 6six time as reset with H1B? Is there a way to get another 6six years without filing a new H1B?

No. You just used the "remainder" option. Use the key word and search for it. Unless the employer applied for a specific new "quota" for you, you do not get a new 6 year period.
