H1 to H4 visa

Hi

I was on H4 visa untill this septmber. Now i'm on H1 visa. If i want to go back to h4 visa what should i do?

Should my husband file a new petition for H4 visa or if my employer revokes the current H1 visa will i automatically go back to my H4 visa?

Status changes are not automatic. You need to apply for a Change of Status using I-539 with other supporting documents.

If your H1 if revoked and you do not apply for a COS in a timely manner, you fall out of status.

You are presently out of status so there could be issues for COS from H1 to H4.

Revoking h1b will put you out of status again (you are already OOS)
