    Travelling India-Visa expiring soon

    My H-1B visa is expiring on Jan 01.

    I am planning to leave for India on Dec 12 and back on Dec 27.My new H1B is in process.I might have the reciept by the time I am leaving the USA.

    Is it ok can I re-enter the USA without any problem on Dec 27 even if I don't have approved notice of new h1B in my hand.

    Please let me know

    Very risky as the new I-94 will be issued based on the visa. Read "cloning" posts using search.

      I got a part time lecturer and its only for 6 months and h1b is under process.Is it ok if travel after I got my h1b approved and return within Dec31
