H1 Stamping Required or Not-Urgent

Hi,

I came to India and i will be travelling back in Jan'2009.
My visa is valid till April 2009.

This is my first visa validity without any extension.

Do i need to go for Stamping?

Also, i want to know if my visa extension happens being in US, Do i need to get the stamping when travel out of US?

I need this information urgently by maximum tomorrow.
