Letter to the Consulate

Hi Friends,

I am planning to attend the visa interview next month in Canada.I am preparing the documents. I got the employment verification letter from the HR source. But they are sayingt that they dont know about the "Letter to the Consulate".

Do any one let me know what is the "Letter to the consulate"?

Is there any sample format that i can get it?\

There is no need of a special letter to the consulate. Some companies issue the employment letter addressed to the consulate and requesting them to grant the visa saying how valuable you are to the company.
