6 years & Beyond H visa - Questions !

I'm presently on valid H1, 4years & running. Would like to transfer to H4.

One thread in here says H4 is not counted towards 6years.
A page in **** **.com says otherwise

1. Is 6years of H = H1 + H4?
2. If yes, in another 2years I will reach my 6th year while on H4, but my husband would only be on his 4th year H1, while his GC in process. Because I cant go on H4 any longer, how do I continue to stay ?

1. Search for H status decoupling on google. the webpage could be outdated on the site you were referring to. H4 time is not counted in the 6 years.
