  • 10 months remaining on H1 max-out

    I have 10 months remaining on H1 max-out. (H1 expires Oct-09. Recapture included)

Is there anyway I can switch employers at this point and start my GC process? Can I apply for H1 extension beyond Oct-09?

Pls share your experience / understanding.

    Thx

Not unless you have an approved I140 from another employer.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

      txh1b, thanks for the response.
Based on the current processing times for labor and I140, do you think 10 months is even possible?

      Appreciate your response.

Not possible. In this economy, labor will not get approved. In my earlier post, I meant if you already have an approved I140 from ex-employer.
