Dear all,
I went through the FAQ and got an idea about tranfer and renewal. I am wondering if anyone can help me in deciding on one.
1. My current H1 approval(was subjected to cap) and H1 visa are expiring in 2009 and i have never entered USA till date.I would like to enter usa in the last 4 months(after present job commitment in India) before expiry of H1B visa. From the faq i gathered that legally i can do that and my curreny employer is happy to wait. Any experiences at port of entry from any one who did this ???
2. I was told by one of my friend that even though i never entered USA i can apply for Renewal with the present employer or transfer to new employer which will be exempt from cap before my present Approval and H1 visa expires in 2009. Is this true ???
If the above is true,which one is better keeping in mind the 6 year H1 max rule ???
